Working with Kyla was an absolute joy! She braved the cold and we did her session during the last weekend in February, and got some incredible shots!
I was a little concerned when she arrived at our first location (the Japanese Tea Garden), because there were people EVERYWHERE! Some kind of event was taking place and there was no way for either of us to know about it before we arrived. We got in as many photos as we could before the staff actually kicked us out within thirty minutes of being there, because they had to close early for this event. But we didn’t let that stop us! We definitely took our sweet time making our way out to the parking lot, stopping here and there for another photo, until the security guard insisted on accompanying us to our cars… haha whoops! It’s better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission right??
After that we made our way to our second location where we got some of the most amazing golden light I’ve ever seen! Kyla was a champ through it all, and wasn’t going to let anything stop her from getting the Senior photos she wanted! She also brought her family along to snag a couple of photos with them near the end, which is something I always recommend my Seniors do! Trust me, Mom is going to appreciate it!
Hopefully I’ll have better luck next time I visit the Japanese Tea Garden, and I’m crossing my fingers that the security guard doesn’t remember me, ha!
